History

The art nouveau “Parkhotel zur Rodelbahn” country hotel was built in 1907 and at this time was already the first hotel in this location. From 1990 to 1995 the hotel was empty then the current hotelier family took over the hotel.

The new owners initiated the extension and expensive total restoration of the building, in the process the design lay in the hands of a well-known Munich interior designer. The hotel opened its doors to guests again in 1996 as a comfort hotel.
