History
The Abraham or Kaiser Mill is one of the earliest recorded mills in 1246. This previous building burnt down in 1730. The mill was then rebuilt in 1732. Only the southern gabled wall with its half hipped roof still exists from the timbered frame. At the start of the 19th century a half-timbered extension was built on the river side of the building, from 1877 the mill building housed its first catering, at the end of the 19th century extensions, additional builds and a garden pavilion were added for the gastronomy. The whole mill building was carefully and lovingly restored from 1976 to 1978 without compromising the character of the building.
