History
Since the beginning of the 15th century, the parsonage belonged to the hospital domain which was first documented in 1403. Around 300 years later in 1808, the mayor of Nabburg at the time, Johann Baptist Keil, acquired the parsonage. Two decades later, Kordula Hiltl became the owner of the parsonage, carrying out extensive renovation and modifications before selling the building in 1835 to the government of the Regenkreis (administrative area), which was from then on used as a parsonage until 1866 during which priests and chaplains lived there.
In 1866 which was the year of the German-Austrian War and the decisive battle at Königgrätz, the parsonage was passed from the state to the occupancy of the church. It remained there for over a hundred years before it was sold to the Anton Schreiner Söhne company in 1971. Exactly 40 years later, Nabburg local Josef Gleixner acquired the parsonage: in 2002 modifications began, and in July 2003 the new Old Parsonage opened as its stands today.
